Terms of Use

These terms apply to the ReviseCue website and the ReviseCue Android app. ReviseCue is one of the customer-facing brands of JBX LLC. JBX LLC is registered in the SHAMS free zone in the UAE.

1. The service

ReviseCue helps you fit revision into your day. You can set short question breaks for apps you choose, or open Study to practise at your own pace without setting up app timers.

App-timer challenges finish when you reach your chosen number of correct answers. Wrong answers show a correction and explanation, then a different question.

Study opens in Guided revision. Choose your subject, practice year and difficulty for a five-question session that needs an internet connection to start. Guided questions are currently in English. A session finishes after five answered questions, including wrong answers, and shows a summary. You can end it early; checked answers stay in Progress, while the session remains incomplete. Switch to Flexible practice for more detailed practice options and your own question count. Flexible practice can also end early and use previously downloaded questions offline while they remain available. Offline answers are checked when you reconnect; verified results and points are unavailable until checking.

Checked answers from both Study options count towards Progress, even if you end a session early. Automatic difficulty uses recent checked answers from both options to match practice to your skills between sessions. You can also choose a fixed difficulty.

Free and Premium

Free includes core practice, answers and explanations, automatic difficulty, basic progress and monitoring for up to two selected apps. Premium adds the features shown in the app and our feature comparison, subject to eligibility and availability. Access is tied to your account and any stated access period. When Premium access expires, Free remains available; existing local material can still be viewed or removed. The settings PIN protects ReviseCue settings but does not prevent changes through Android’s system controls.

We do not currently offer paid subscriptions or take payment details for Premium access. If paid plans are introduced, the price, billing period, renewal, cancellation and applicable refund terms will be presented before you choose to purchase. These terms do not authorise a future charge.

Optional AI practice

AI practice requires eligible Premium access, age 18 or over, UAE eligibility and separate AI learning-data consent. Free practice remains available without AI. Preparation may be delayed or unavailable because of question availability, service limits or safety checks. Generated questions and explanations can be wrong despite checks; verify important information with trusted learning materials. AI practice is not available to under-18 users. AI questions from imported My Material files remain unavailable.

2. Educational scope

ReviseCue is a general-purpose revision and practice tool for users aged 13 and over.

The app shows the subjects, curricula and practice levels currently available. Available questions depend on your selection. Curriculum labels describe practice support and do not imply approval or endorsement by a school or examination board. Do not assume that a selection covers an entire course or syllabus. Suggested practice years are not international grade equivalences.

ReviseCue is not a school, tutor, examination authority or accredited education provider. It does not issue qualifications or certificates.

Questions and explanations may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect. Users should check important answers against trusted teachers and learning materials. ReviseCue does not guarantee grades, examination results or learning outcomes.

3. Using ReviseCue

You agree to use ReviseCue lawfully and in a way that does not harm other people, the service or its security. You must not attempt to interfere with the app or website, gain unauthorised access, misuse automated systems, copy protected material at scale, or use the service to create or distribute harmful content.

Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use ReviseCue. The Android app is available to learners using ReviseCue in the UAE. Children under 13 must not use the website or app.

If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use ReviseCue only with permission from a parent or guardian where required by applicable law.

4. Device permissions

App-timer breaks require Android Usage Access, permission to display over other apps and a visible monitoring service. You control permissions through the app and Android settings. Removing a required permission may stop the related feature from working. Standalone Study does not require app monitoring or these app-timer permissions. Google sign-in and the applicable account and Study permissions are still required.

5. Intellectual property

Only provide study materials that you have sufficient rights to store and process for the intended use, including AI-assisted processing where enabled. Do not submit third-party examination papers, syllabus guides, textbook extracts or other protected materials without the relevant permissions. ReviseCue may restrict, quarantine or remove material where rights are unclear, and provides no authority to bypass any rightsholder's conditions.

The ReviseCue name, logo, design, software and original content belong to JBX LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and revocable right to use the service. They do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property.

6. Availability and changes

We may improve, change, suspend or discontinue features. We do not promise that the website or app will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Available questions and curriculum coverage can change as the question bank is updated.

7. Third-party services

ReviseCue may rely on third-party services for hosting, security, analytics or distribution. Their own terms and policies may apply. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not mean we control or endorse their content.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ReviseCue is provided “as is” and “as available”. JBX LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits rights that applicable consumer law gives you.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Sharjah, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Courts with jurisdiction in Sharjah will have jurisdiction where legally permitted.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as ReviseCue develops and will show the revised date here. For material changes affecting your rights or use of the service, we will provide an appropriate notice and obtain agreement where required by law. Changes do not apply retroactively or replace any separate privacy consent. You may stop using the service and request account deletion if you do not accept revised terms.
