Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 September 2026
This policy explains how JBX LLC, registered in SHAMS, United Arab Emirates and trading as ReviseCue (“ReviseCue”, “we”, “us”), handles personal information when you use our website and, once released, the ReviseCue Android app.
1. Information we handle
On the website, we may receive basic technical information that browsers and hosting services normally provide, such as device type, browser type, approximate region, pages visited and error logs. We use optional Google Analytics only after you consent through the cookie banner.
In the app, core information such as learning preferences, selected apps, timer settings, points and recent-question history is designed to be stored locally on your device. Android may provide app-usage events needed to measure time in apps you select. ReviseCue does not read the content displayed on your screen.
If optional AI question generation is used, limited learning context—such as curriculum, year or grade, term, subject, topic, difficulty and recent-question patterns—may be sent to our AI service provider to generate a suitable question. We aim not to send your name, screen content or unrelated device data for this purpose.
2. How we use information
- To provide app timers, revision questions, feedback and points.
- To adapt questions to the learning settings you choose.
- To keep the website and app secure, reliable and easy to improve.
- To respond when you contact us.
- To understand website use only where you have accepted optional analytics.
3. Permissions and choices
The Android app may ask for usage access, overlay access and permission to run a visible monitoring service. These permissions are used for the core timing and question experience. You can remove them in Android settings and stop monitoring in the app. We aim to request only permissions needed for features you choose to use.
You can accept or decline optional website analytics. You can reopen Cookie preferences from the footer at any time. Declining analytics does not prevent you from using the website.
4. Service providers and sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may use carefully selected providers for website hosting, security, analytics (only with consent), crash reporting and AI question generation. They process information for the services they provide to us and are subject to their own security and privacy obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect users and our services.
5. Young users
ReviseCue is designed for learners, including teenagers. We minimise data collection, avoid advertising profiles and aim to keep core data on the device. If local law requires permission from a parent or guardian, the user should obtain it before using the app. A parent or guardian may contact us about a young user’s privacy.
6. Retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose described, to meet legal requirements or to resolve disputes. Locally stored app data remains on the device until it is removed through app controls, app data settings or uninstallation. No system is completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and service.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify the request before acting.
8. International processing
Our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as ReviseCue develops. The date above shows the latest version. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].
