Account and privacy
Delete your ReviseCue account
ReviseCue is one of the customer-facing brands of JBX LLC. You can request deletion here even if you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in.
Request account and data deletion
Email michael@revisecue.com from the Google email you use for ReviseCue, with the subject “Delete my ReviseCue account”. If you cannot access that email, contact the same address for help verifying ownership. Do not send a password, sign-in code, identity document or study file with your initial request.
This opens your email app. Review and send the message yourself. If no email app opens, copy the address above into your email service. Opening this page or composing a message does not delete your account.
Request from the Android app
In app versions where deletion is enabled, open Settings, Privacy & about, then Delete account and follow the confirmation steps. If the action is unavailable, or you cannot use the app, use the email route above. The email route remains available during the current limited release.
What happens next
We verify ownership before acting and reply with the next steps and expected completion time. You do not need to reinstall ReviseCue, accept analytics or enable AI to make a request. Signing out or withdrawing account permission does not delete your account. Deleting your ReviseCue account does not delete your Google account.
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within a few days and commit to completion within 30 days after ownership verification. If a legal requirement or technical exception affects completion, we will explain the reason, what remains and the expected next date.
Data covered by the request
Your request covers your ReviseCue sign-in identity, saved profile and learning preferences, permission records, saved progress and answers, recorded study sessions, account access records, private feedback, survey responses and account-linked mail records. It also covers associated personal data held by our service providers, where applicable. We explain any information that must be retained for a legitimate legal or security purpose and its retention period.
Shared revision questions and their content-rights records are independent of your account. Deleting your account does not remove that shared question bank.
Data on your phone
Your selected apps, timers, private study files, offline questions and other local settings can remain on your phone after a remote account deletion. To remove all ReviseCue data on that phone, open Android Settings, Apps, ReviseCue, Storage, then Clear storage. This removes local progress and imported copies too. Repeat on any other phone where you used ReviseCue. Do not clear another person’s installation.
Backups, service logs and requests
Deletion from active systems does not instantly erase protected backup copies, messages already delivered or provider security logs. We explain applicable retention and any necessary exceptions when processing your request. Retained copies are restricted and must not be used to restore a deleted account into normal service.
Our policy retains support cases and deletion-case receipts for 12 months after closure, longer only for a documented dispute or legal requirement. We keep a minimum anti-restoration marker until relevant restorable backups have expired or been removed and checked. These restricted records are separate from your active learning account.
For more information, read our Privacy Policy. You can contact michael@revisecue.com about your request or a young user’s information.
